Obligations, mechanisms, principles and standards of the Escazu Agreement to inform the International Negotiating Committee(INC) process towards a global legally binding agreement to combat plastic pollution

The Regional Agreement on Access to Information, Public Participation and Access to Justice in Environmental Matters in Latin America and the Caribbean (known as the “Escazú Agreement”) was adopted in Costa Rica on 4 March 2018.
