Asia Pacific - Zero waste cities -Facing pulic pressure, the capital of Kerala introduced a decentralised system for waste management, which later resulted in a successful model where waste is neither burned nor buried. Their decentralisation mdoel offers an excellent lens to understand the implementation challenges, politics of priorities, and the roles of different stakeholders in the road towards zero waste.
