Colleen is a lifelong activist with more than 25 years of experience mobilizing resources for environmental and human rights groups. Her work is informed by 15+ years working and traveling internationally to strengthen civil society and advance climate justice, over two decades of volunteer leadership with Amnesty International, and a decade of state-based grassroots environmental organizing and policy advocacy at home. She has a master’s degree in International Studies with a specialization in Russian. Colleen spends her free time surfing and throwing pottery in New Jersey where she lives at the beach with her two rescue dogs.
