Adrienne is the Resource Mobilization and Network Development Lead for the US & Canada Program at GAIA (Global Alliance for Incinerator Alternatives). She brings nearly 20 years of nonprofit leadership experience with a focus on climate change, environmental justice, and project management. Prior to coming to GAIA, Adrienne served as the Managing Director of the Tishman Environment and Design Center at the New School University in New York City where she supported the environmental and climate justice movements by advancing policies and initiatives that prioritize the needs and voices of frontline communities impacted by environmental harms. Adrienne has extensive experience in nonprofit management, program leadership, and directing mission-driven initiatives.
Her work is driven by a deep belief in justice, grassroots power, and the need for systemic change to address the intertwined crises of pollution, climate change, and social injustice. With a background in environmental policy, nonprofit leadership, and academic partnerships, she brings a unique blend of strategic vision and on-the-ground impact to every initiative she supports. Adrienne currently resides in Upstate New York. She has an MPA from NYU’s Robert F. Wagner School of Public Service.
