Gemma Estrella

Gemma is the Program and Network Systems Manager for GAIA and is part of the Global Support Team. Originally from Barcelona, she has a background in journalism and film editing and has been involved with social justice and grassroots organizations in Spain, Mexico, and the United States. In 2005 she moved to Mexico, where she lived for seven years and worked as a Program Manager at Promedios de Comunicación Comunitaria. Prior to joining GAIA, Gemma also worked at Centro Legal de la Raza, in Oakland, as the Donor Relations and Communications Coordinator.
